Río, 2016, 06'15'', HD (preview)

“Río" contemplates the interaction between the flow of a river, its wildlife and the sunlight. Although it is just a few inches deep, the river contains a busy and multilayered life. The close-ups show pondskaters, fish, tadpoles and leaves… They all move in changing directions, swimming or floating in the water, which is practically invisible despite being what makes the river’s intricate life possible. The film highlights details of the river that could easily be overlooked, but which reveal the vast richness of a river that could be any river.
